India once again overhauled a gigantic target set by Australia and won the sixth One-Day International by six wickets at Nagpur. The chase was set up beautifully by Shikhar Dhawan’s matured knock of 100 from 102 balls and Virat Kohli’s sparkling ton. This was Kohli’s 17th ODI ton. The series is now level at 2-2 and the two teams move to Bangalore for the seventh and final ODI on November 2.
Australia had set a target of 350 runs thanks to skipper George Bailey’s 156 — the highest by an Australian captain against India. However, that wasn’t enough. Even in the second ODI, India had chased down a record 360 runs at Jaipur. Below are a few Twitter reactions covering interesting statistics, opinions and humour.
