Rain may play spoilsport in India’s first One-Day International against England on Monday (25 August) at Bristol. India had lost the five-match Test series 3-1, and will look to avenge the defeat in colored clothing.

According to weather.com, there is a very high chance of rains tomorrow. This may result in either the match being abandoned, or the number of overs played in each innings reduced.

Earlier, Alastair Cook had said that India will go in to the series as favorites, as they were the reigning world champions and knew their game well. Both teams will look at the tournament, as an opportunity to strike the right team balance ahead of the ICC World Cup 2015.
