Alastair Cook and Gary Ballance have been solid after tea for England in their run-chase of 319 against India at Lord’s. Earlier, India were bowled out for 342, which left England with 319. Sam Robson is the only English wicket to fall on the day as he was trapped by Ravindra Jadeja in the afternoon session.
India have kept their spinners on for this contest. Ravindra Jadeja has continued to bowl and is getting turn on the surface. On the other hand, even Murali Vijay has rolled his arm over and there is some help for him. A few deliveries have kept very low as well and that doesn’t reflect well on the surface that had copious bounce earlier. England are now 53 for one.
