India’s openers have gotten off to a very good start in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) against England. India are chasing 207 to win this game and clinch the series and both Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan have attacked the England bowling with a flurry of boundaries.
Earlier in the innings, Rahane had hit Anderson for four fours in an over. And then in the 10th over, Dhawan smashed Chris Woakes for three fours in the over.
Earlier, MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bowl at Edgbaston. India were forced to make a change with Mohit Sharma being ruled out due to injury. Dhawal Kulkarni came in his place. England made quite a few changes. In came Gary Ballance, Moeen Ali and Harry Gurney came into the side. Ian Bell, James Tredwell and Ben Stokes. England scored only 206 and that was largely due to Moeen Ali’s brisk 67.
