Shikhar Dhawan has been dismissed in India’s second innings of the second Test against England at Lord’s. India have taken the lead in this game, but lost Dhawan after he was looking a lot more positive on a surface that tested him in the first innings.

Dhawan was dismissed for a quick 30 and the score was on 40. He had scored very well but then when Ben Stokes came in, he cut one hard and Joe Root took a magnificent catch at gully diving to his left. That was an important wicket as Dhawan was playing good shots and was threatening to take it away with some good hitting. India now have Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara in the middle.
