Ian Bell got to his 42nd Test fifty as England continue to march ahead on Day Two of the fourth Test against India at Old Trafford, Manchester. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Pankaj Singh started the proceedings on the second say. Bell got to his fifty in 63 balls.

England resumed the day at 113 for three with 39 behind. Bell has been very compact with neat shots past thirdman. Pankaj almost got him out leg-before on Day One. Bell scored a century in the previous Test and looks set to get a big one here.

While Jordan has been sent as a nightwatchman, he is an all-rounder and played some sparkling shots. Four boundaries have been hit this morning so far and Jordan has hit three of them.
