James Anderson removed Virat Kohli for the fourth time in this series as India are tottering at 61 are five on Day Three of the fourth Test at Old Trafford, Manchester on Saturday. Kohli edged to slip once again as India inch towards an innings defeat.
Earlier, India’s batting lynchpin in this series so far Rahane was under considerable pressure and chipped the ball straight to the bowler and Moeen Ali had taken two wickets in two overs. India are in dire straits at the moment. He had dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara.
A couple of overs ago, Gautam Gambhir and Pujara grew into the game with a few good strokes which yielded boundaries square of the wicket. Moeen Ali’s ineffective over saw Gambhir sweep behind square for a boundary before James Anderson induced an edge of a wide delivery down the leg-side and was pouched by Jos Buttler. Pujara was just beginning to look good before Moeen Ali trapped him in front. Hawk-eye though suggested that the ball would go on to miss the stumps and Pujara had a bemused look on his face
