The fifth day of the fourth Test between India and England at Old Trafford could have been washed out due to incessant rains which continued from the previous day. Indian commentator Aakash Chopra tweeted that it had been raining for two days, thereby ensuring that had India survived Day Three, the match could have ended in a draw.
It’s been raining for two days in Manchester…Reminds me of Jamaica…started raining 15 mins after India lost. Didn’t stop for three days!

Chopra also remembered the match between India and West Indies at Jamaica in 2002, where India lost the match on the fifth day, and it started raining mere moments after that for the next couple of days.
