India vs Leicestershire: Rain interrupts Tour Match on Day 3

Leicestershire are at 71 for one trailing India by 262 runs on Day Three of the Tour Match.

India’s tour match against Leicestershire has again been delayed by rain. Play began on Day Three of the match at Grace Road with Leicestershire opening their innings. Leicestershire are at 71 for one after 13 overs. Angus Robson is batting on 45 and Greg Smith is on 19. Matthew Boyce was dismissed for four. Lunch has been called on Day Three.

 

Pankaj Singh was the bowler who took the sole wicket. Leicestershire currently trail the Indians by 262 runs in the first session on Day Three. This is only a three-day match and the whole of Day Two was washed out by rain. Indians had declared their innings at 333 for four after Day One. Catch the live blog of the match here.

 

Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with 60 runs. He retired hurt. Cheteshwar Pujara scored 57 and Gautam Gambhir added 54 before both retired out. Ajinkya Rahane was not out on 47 and Rohit Sharma was also unbeaten on 43.
