India have finally taken a wicket as Kane Williamson has been dismissed after a sterling innings of 113 on Day One of the first Test at Auckland. Williamson put up a huge partnership with Brendon McCullum to take New Zealand to a good position after starting the day on 30 for three.
Zaheer Khan dismissed Williamson as he bowled a delivery down the leg side while coming from round the wicket. Williamson tried to glance it, but got a thin edge to MS Dhoni as he was taken. As a result 221-run stand came to an end.
It was a partnership that put India on the backfoot. Corey Anderson is the new man.
