India are in a tough situation in their chase of 293 in the first One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand at Napier. At the end of 35 overs, they are, 162 for four with Virat Kohli on 78 and MS Dhoni on 14.
India were jolted by a few strikes in the middle.
Now, Kohli and Dhoni are left with the tough task as the batting powerplay has come about. They need to go full throttle now as the required rate has risen.
Dhoni and Kohli are India’s biggest hope in this run-chase as it is tough for the lower order batsmen to come in and strike it big instantly.
