Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson have helped New Zealand move to 90 for two in 20 overs in the first One-Day International (ODI) against India at Napier. Taylor is on 21 and Williamson is on 38.

Taylor and Williamson are gradually leading a recovery. After losing their openers early on, New Zealand moved along slowly. However, things got going when Williamson picked two boundaries off Ishant Sharma in the 15th over. Later, even Ravindra Jadeja was picked for a few runs. One of the best shots was when Williamson charged down the wicket and lofted Ravichandran Ashwin for four through long-off.

The two batsmen are rotating strike and keeping the scoreboard ticking. So far, Dhoni has used six bowlers: Ashwin, Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Ishant, Virat Kohli and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
