Martin Guptill has been dismissed by Mohammed Shami. He chased a delivery outside the off-stump from Shami and the edge flew to first slip. Ravichandran Ashwin took the catch there. At the end of eight overs, New Zealand are 33 for two.

Earlier, Jesse Ryder started of very well, but then he was bowled by Shami as he did not move his feet very well and was castled in the fourth over.

Thus, India’s bowled have hit back well as they were attacked early on. Guptill scored only eight in 23 balls that he faced.
