MS Dhoni has scored a half-century in India‘s first innings of the second Test against New Zealand in Wellington on February 15, 2014. He got to his 29th half-century in Test cricket two runs through deep square-leg off Tim Southee’s bowling in the post-tea session on Day Two.
Just before that, Dhoni hit a six over long-off. India are at 337 for six after 89 overs on Day Two. Dhoni is batting on 61 off 76 deliveries and Ajinkya Rahane is on 77 off 121 deliveries. India lead New Zealand by 145 runs.
The session began with India at 301 for six. They had added 100 runs in the second session on Day Two. Virat Kohli was the only wicket to fall in that session for 38. Rahane and Dhoni have added 109 runs in 125 deliveries for the seventh wicket.
