Southee then bowls one down the leg side and Vijay seems to have edged it behind for wicketkeeper BJ Watling to take the catch. The umpire raises his finger and Vijay has to go back into dressing room. Replays show that the ball might have kissed the face of the bat before deflecting off the pads en route to Watling. Cheteshwar Pujara is the enw man in.
OUT! Vijay 13 (21)
Boult bowls an in-swinging delivery to Vijay and he flicks it to fine-leg for four runs. Boult bowls one on the pads and Vijay flicks it away for another four towards fine-leg. Southee bowls one full and wide outside off-stump and Dhawan drives that through covers for a four.

Dhawan also gets off the mark with a single towards covers. Tim Southee comes into bowl. Jadeja comes into the attack. Wagner charges down the ground and misses. Dhoni fails to collect it as Wagner is stranded outside the crease. Jadeja then bowls one outside off-stump and Boult comes down the track. The ball turns and bounces sharply and goes wide of the bat, over Dhoni’s gloves and over Kohli at first slip. Ishant digs one in short and Wagner top-edges a pull straight to Jadeja at backward square-leg. That is the end of the New Zealand innings. They have been bowled out for 105 in their second innings. India need 407 runs to win the first Test. Ishant and Shami have got three wickets each.

They trail New Zealand by 301 runs. We have to wait and find out whether the follow-on will be used by New Zealand or not. The way the New Zealand openers entered the changing rooms would suggest that New Zealand want to bat again and put the result of this match to rest.

A little unlucky to get out like this, but very good bowling from the New Zealand bowlers so far. Ravindra Jadeja is the new man in. He gets off the mark with a push through extra-cover for two runs. Boult then bowls a brilliant riser from just back of a length and Jadeja has to sway away from it.
