India lost their top three batsmen in the first session of second day’s play in the warm-up match against New Zealand XI on Monday.
On Day Two morning, Murali Vijay was the first batsmen to be dismissed. Shikhar Dhawan was the next batsmen to go when he ran out. Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara returned to the pavilion after scoring 33 off 66 balls.
India were at 144 for the loss of three wickets. Skipper Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane were unbeaten at the crease.
Earlier, New Zealand XI declared their innings at 262 for nine on Day One. Ishwar Pandey picked up three wickets in his first match of the tour.
