The Anti-Corruption and Security Unit of the International Cricket Council (ICC) installed 145 close-circuit cameras in and around the Eden Garden stadium to keep a tight vigil during the India-Pakistan One-Day match, on Thursday.
“These includes eight each in the two dressing rooms and several others around the stadium including the press box at the top-most level of Eden Gardens,” a Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) official said.
Normally one ACSU official takes charge of the match but this time three officials are on duty.
The three-member team includes Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ACSU unit’s chief Ravi Sawani, the former head of the ICC ACSU and ICC’s regional security managers Niranjan Singh Virk and Dharamveer Singh Yadav.
