Akhil Herwadkar was dismissed after he helped India Under-19 to a good solid start in their ICC Under-19 World Cup 2014 Group A game against Papua New Guinea Under-19. At the end of 13 overs, India under-19 are 67 for one. Vijay Zol is batting in the centre with Ankush Bains.
India had started off in a cautious manner, but then Herwadkar unleashed an array of attacking strokes to put Papua New Guinea on the backfoot. He had taken 10 runs off the 10th over and then had smashed 18 off the eleventh to make up for the slow start. He was initially troubled and also let go as the point fielder dropped an easy catch, but then in the 12th over, he tried to go over the top, but found the man at square-leg.
