India have lost the wicket of Cheteshwar Pujara in the second session on Day One of the first Test against South Africa in Johannesburg. India are at 119 for three after 45 overs. Virat Kohli (65) and Rohit Sharma (5) are at the crease.
Pujara was run out for 25 off 98 balls. Kohli dropped the ball short on the leg side and called for a quick single. Imran Tahir swiftly moved towards the ball and Kohli went back to his crease as Pujara was left stranded half-way down the pitch. Tahir’s throw was accurate and Hashim Amla whipped off the bails.
The partnership between the duo was worth 89 runs for the third wicket. Rohit was the next batsman in at No 5 for India.
