Virat Kohli has top-scored for India with 119 off 181 balls. He was dismissed by veteran Jacques Kallis in the evening session on Wednesday at the New Wanderers Stadium. Cheteshwar Pujara was run out for 25, while Rohit Sharma scored 14.
Openers Shikhar Dhawan (13) and Murali Vijay (6) did not last long after India captain Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first. Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel, Vernon Philander and Kallis have taken one wicket-a-piece till the 85th over.
