India have crossed the 50-run mark in the first innings of the first Test against South Africa in Johannesburg. India’s score after 24 overs is 51 for two. Cheteshwar Pujara is batting on 16 and Virat Kohli is on 15.
Kohli then got a bit lucky as his two leaves off Morkel could have resulted in him getting out. The first leave was for a short delivery outside off-stump, but the ball hit the top-edge of the bat and went for a four over the slips in the third-man region.
Next ball, he left a length delivery outside off-stump, but the ball took an inside edge off the bat and missed the stumps by a whisker and went towards fine-leg for a single.
