Virat Kohli was dismissed on the first ball of Day Five of the second Test at Durban while Cheteshwar Pujara was bowled in the third over of the day. Both wickets were picked by Dale Steyn. Steyn pitched a short of length delivery to which Kohli attempted to defend. He was beaten by the movement off the pitch and the ball brushed his shoulders into the hand of AB de Villiers behind the wicket. Umpire Rod Tucker adjudged it out but Kohli showed his disappointment while walking back. Pujara however was beaten by a beauty by Steyn who bowled from wide of the crease and went past the defense of Pujara. India are on 71 for four.
Michael Vaughan was quick to point out the absence of a Decision Review System which could have saved Kohli.

India are trailing by 95. It will be interesting to see how much that tough decision affects India’s fortunes on Day Five and whether they will be able to survive to play out a draw.
