Many are expecting India’s upcoming home series against Sri Lanka to be a one-sided affair. Looking at the form both teams are carrying, there are ample possibilities of that turning out to be true. However, Harbhajan Singh went a bit too far to reply to Dimuth Karunaratne’s comments on the series. Karunaratne had said in an interview that Sri Lanka cricketers will try hard not to let Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin affect their batting, and Harbhajan immediately tried to troll the team.

“I know Jadeja and Ashwin are both hungry for wickets,” Karunaratne had said, as reported by sports.ndtv.com. “Every time they bowl it’s about sticking to the basics. If I don’t give them any chance, they will try to do something else. If we need them to change the field you have to do something extra. I wait for the loose ones and I will stick to that. If it does not work I will think out of the box and give some extra pressure to the bowlers.”

Replying Karunaratne, Harbhajan tweeted taunting Sri Lanka about their horrific home series against Zimbabwe. He later deleted the tweet but many took screenshot of it and posted on social media.

Sri Lanka will play three Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is in India.
