Sri Lanka have reached a score of 103 for four after 15 overs against India in the warm-up match in the ICC World T20 2014 at Dhaka on March 17, 2014. MS Dhoni won the toss and sent Sri Lanka into bat first in the T20 World Cup. Dinesh Chandimal is batting on 24 and Angelo Mathews is on nine.
Mahela Jayawardene top-edged a slog-sweep Amit Mishra also for a six over long-leg in the ninth over. But on the next delivery, he closed the face of his bat and spooned a catch back to Mishra. Jayawardene scored 30 off 20 deliveries with two fours and two sixes.
Ravichandran Ashwin struck immediately in the next over as he dismissed Tillakaratne Dilshan LBW for nine off 20 deliveries. He came from round the wicket and pitched one on middle and leg-stump. The ball turned in a little and struck the pads as Dilshan missed. The players appealed and the umpire raised his finger.
Kumar Sangakkara then tried to pull a short delivery from Suresh Raina and missed. The ball hit the stumps and Sangakkara had to depart for four runs. Raina then bowled one on the pads and Chandimal flicked it for a four towards fine-leg. Chandimal then slog-swept Mishra for a six over deep square-mid-wicket.
