India vs West Indies 2016, 1st Test, Day 3: Watch Video Highlights of Mohammed Shami’s 4 wickets

India after a dominant display bowled out West Indies for just 243 and enforced the follow on as well.

India’s fast bowlers put on a spectacular show of swing bowling on Day 3 of the first Test against West Indies at Antigua. Mohammed Shami who was making a comeback into the Test squad after a not so satisfying career last year, managed to scalp four wickets of West Indies in first innings. Umesh Yadav too was brilliant as he took four wickets as well. Shami’s figures in the West Indies first innings read 4 for 66. He had sent opener Rajendra Chandrika back to the pavilion on the second Day of the Test. India’s bowlers made a mockery of all the lamentations of a placid, lifeless pitch over the first two days with an impressive, purposeful effort throughout the day. Kraigg Brathwaite, who defied India’s array of pace and spin for almost five hours in getting to 74, could not survive the first over of the second turn at the crease, being trapped palpably leg-before by Ishant Sharma. IND vs WI Live Streaming: Watch live telecast on Ozee.com

“It was a decent knock in the first innings but I would have loved to go on,” said Brathwaite at the close of play. With three out-and-out pacers and two spinners, the Indians have a lot to choose from. They stuck to their plans very well. It was never easy batting against them,” he said.

Chandrika and Darren Bravo survived to the close and will resume on the fourth day hoping to put up a much more concerted effort than in the first innings.
