Indian women reached 20 for one in the first One-Day International (ODI) played against South Africa at Bengaluru on Monday.
Earlier, India women won the toss and elected to bat first. India women lost the first wicket early only in the fifth over of the match as Smriti Mandhana was dismissed by Marizanne Kapp. Mandhana took 13 balls to score 11 runs which included a lone boundary.
Vellaswamy Vanitha and Poonam Yadav remained unbeaten on seven and one. India women had earlier won the lone Test match played against South Africa by an innings and 34 runs. This was India’s third Test win on a trott.
