The Indian cricket team has lodged a complaint against umpire Vineet Kulkarni, whose erroneous decisions since the beginning of their home series against South Africa. The Indian cricket team has cited as many as four examples — all leg-before decisions — which they believe were erroneous and proved costly for them. The two teams have meanwhile reached the central Indian city of Indore, where they would be playing the second One-Day International (ODI) of their series on Wednesday. South Africa had earlier won the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series 2-0 with the third game being washed out at Kolkata, and they made a winning start to the five-match ODI series by winning the first clash at Kanpur’s Green Park stadium by a narrow margin of five runs. “We did not have quite a few decisions going our way and sometimes these can change the match. It could have been different if we could have got Duminy out early,” MS Dhoni had said after India’s defeat in the first T20I at the stadium in Dharamsala. According to a report in The Hindu, has irked the Indian cricket team with his decisions in the ongoing bilateral series. In the first T20 at Dharamsala, the South African batsman JP Duminy was let off as many as two times, and a decision against Shikhar Dhawan did not look convincing enough. The team is also not happy with the decision that Kulkarni gave in favour of Faf du Plessis, on the first ball he faced against Ravichandran Ashwin.
