VIVO IPL 2018 was no less than a fairytale for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as they came back from a ban to clinch their third title, crushing Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets. CSK, who played their first and last games of the season at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, had their journey filled with nail-biting matches. The final turned out to be an almost anticlimactic cakewalk for MS Dhoni and his men.

CSK restricted SRH to 178 after opting to bowl despite spirited shows from Kane Williamson (47) and Yusuf Pathan (45*). SRH started well defending the total, but Shane Watson, who failed to get off the mark in the first 10 deliveries, smashed his second century of this season to take CSK home with 9 balls to spare. His 117 not out, off only 57 balls, consisted of 11 fours and 8 sixes. Let us glance at the marks out of 10 for the 22 finalists:
