He recorded the joint fastest 50 of this season, off just 17 balls and the joint fastest half-century for MI along with Kieron Pollard.

In the post match presentation he revealed his attitude while batting and admitted that Rohit backed him in the middle. “Had a chat with my skipper, he told me to go there and back myself. My plan was to look at the ball till the last moment and keep smacking.”

For a lean young boy, where does he generate the power from. “Have to believe in yourself, your strengths,” replied Kishan.

Kishan did not get fair bit of chance in the last few games. Talking on that he admitted of having no problem to bat at any position. With the win MI climbed up the fourth spot in the points table with 10 points. “Win was important for us, point was to stay there, back yourself and put up a good show. I’m okay with batting anywhere depending on the team situation.”
