Sunrisers Hyderavad vs Kolkata Knight riders Updates: Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the VIVO IPL 2018. We head to the Match 54 of the tournament where Kane Willaimson led  Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Dinesh Karthik led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). We will bring you match updates and important stats highlights in this space. It is a must win match for KKR to qualify in the playoffs.

KKR had brushed RR aside in their last encounter quite comfortably. KKR were hammered by Jos Buttler and Rahul Tripathi’s fierce start, but they pulled things back quickly after that. Having an ordinary IPL so far, Kuldeep Yadav made a strong statement with a 4-0-20-4 to restrict RR below 150 in absence of Piyush Chawla. After a typical Sunil Narine blitz, Chris Lynn and Dinesh Karthik chased down the total with 2 overs to spare.

SRH on the other hand faced some hammering from the RCB batsmen as they posted a mammoth total of 218. They had rested Bhuvneshwar Kumar and replaced him with Basil Thampi who recorded the worst figures by a bowler in IPL. Kane Willaimson and Manish Pandey fought hard but could not take their team home.

SRH likely XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Alex Hales, Kane Williamson (c), Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda/Yusuf Pathan, Shakib Al Hasan, Shreevats Goswami (wk), Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Basil Thampi, Siddarth Kaul.

KKR likely XI: Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik (c & wk), Shubman Gill, Andre Russell, Kuldeep Yadav, Shivam Mavi, Prashid Krishna, Javon Searles
