After a dramatic start to the Indian T20 league, Match 2 will see the clash of two well-balanced units – Punjab and Delhi. However, both the sides will miss the Australian touch to them. Where Aaron Finch will not be playing the initial games of the tournament, courtesy his wedding with partner Amy Griffiths, Glenn Maxwell, too, will be missed in action for Delhi. As Finch has appointed close friend Maxwell to MC (Master of Ceremonies) his wedding, the all-rounder would be unavailable for his new franchise Delhi.

Finch was bought by Punjab for INR 6.2 crores while Maxwell was purchased for whooping INR 9 crores. Maxwell explained that Finch was originally told the India T20 league was likely to start on April 15 and, therefore, he picked April 7 as the date to tie the knot.

Reflecting on the same, Finch said that there is no chance that he would miss his wedding for the opening match, before expressing confidence that he is most likely to join the Punjab squad for the second game against Rajasthan on April 13.

Finch and Maxwell will lock horns later this month when Delhi will host Punjab on April 23.
