Mumbai Indians reach 182 in their allotted 20 overs against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday.
The Mumbai batsman scored 60-ball 109 which included 12 boundaries and five sixes. He was ably supported by Herschelle Gibbs who notched a 58-ball 66.
Electing to bat, Mumbai were dealt a major blow in the third over when Shakib Al Hasan had Sachin Tendulkar stumped for two.
Rohit then joined forces with Gibbs as they smashed the Kolkata attack to all part of the park.
The India batsman was the severe of the two as they brought their 50-run partnership in 36 balls.
Rohit came hard on Brett Lee smashing him for 18 runs in 17 over after pileling–up 19 runs off Rajat Bhatia in the 15th over.
