Chennai have reaced 92 for one half-way through, and Rajasthan are in pressure after their solid stand. Chennai need a further 94 runs in 60 balls.

CSK  81/1 | Overs 9  | Hussey 38*, Raina 37*

Raina continues to score runs easily as he lifts Shane Watson delivery over the long off area to keep the scoring rate up for the Super Kings. Chennai reach 81 for one after nine overs.

CSK  70/1 | Overs 8  | Hussey 37*, Raina 28*

Suresh Raina picks up a boundary towards the deep midwicket area to take the run count to nine from Siddharth Trivedi’s over.

CSK 61/1 | Overs 7  | Hussey 36*, Raina 21*

Ajit Chandila gives away only three singles as Chennai reach 61 for one after the end of the seventh over.

Suresh Raina gets into the groove as he slams a six over the extra cover fielder and Hussey clobbers a boundary towards the deep backward point.

CSK  45/1 | Overs 5  | Hussey 30*, Raina 11*

Suresh Raina chips over the mid-on fielder on the first ball off James Faulkner to put the pressure right away. Faulkner bounces back to keep things quiet in the remainder of the over.

CSK  38/1 | Overs 4  | Hussey 29*, Raina 5*

Despite losing Murali Vijay early on, Chennai have kept the scoring rate high. Three boundaries off Rahul Shukla’s second over as the Super Kings add 14 from the over. Hussey looks in sublime touch.

CSK  24/1 | Overs 3  | Hussey 20*, Raina 1*

CSK  15/0 | Overs 2  | Hussey 12*, Vijay 3*

Michael Hussey cracks two boundaries off Rahul Shukla to provide the Super Kings some momentum early on. Hussey slashes towards the backward point  to get a boundary on the third ball, and pulls a short delivery to get another four. Chennai add 11 runs to their total.

CSK  4/0 | Overs 1 | Hussey 2*, Vijay 2*

Ajit Chandila gives away only four runs in the opening over of the second innings.

Shane Watson roared back into form and took Rajasthan to a strong total against the two-time champions. Chennai middle-order will be tested. Here’s Devarchit Varma to bring you the updates from the second half of the game.

RR  185/4 | Overs 20 | Binny 36*, Hodge 9*

Bravo has bowled a good spell. Murali Vijay misfielded at deep mid-wicket. His hesitancy resulted in three extra runs. Ten runs off the final overs and Bravo has been excellent. Rajasthan has been good. Join us in 10 minutes.

RR  175/4 | Overs 19 | Binny 33*, Hodge 2*

Morris bowls a fine bouncer to Binny off the third delivery. The next ball was a length delivery which Binny smashed past point. Only seven runs conceded by Morris.

RR  168/4 | Overs 18 | Binny 27*, Hodge 1*

Watson becomes the first centurion of IPL 2013. He falls immediately after getting to the 25th hundred of the league. Binny hits Bravo over cow-corner. It’s a meaty blow. Will Rajasthan get to 200?

RR  156/3 | Overs 17 | Watson 99* , Binny 19*

Watson attacks Jadeja. First two balls go for huge sixes. Eighteen runs off the 17th over. Royals have a huge total. Watson is batting on 99.

RR  138/3 | Overs 16 | Watson 84* , Binny 18*

The change of pace from Bravo has troubled Rajasthan, who are seeking the pace on the ball. Only seven came off that over despite Bravo bowling a front-foot no-ball. Rajasthan’s momentum has been halted just a little bit.

RR  131/3 | Overs 15 | Watson 81* , Binny 16*

Jadeja comes back into the attack. Watson smashed him in the first over. Will Jadeja be able to contain Watson? Binny hits Jadeja inside-out for a four. Rajasthan looking to get into the fifth gear now.

RR  120/3 | Overs 14 | Watson 79* , Binny 7*

Bravo has hoodwinked Dravid with a slower delivery. Dravid just failed to see the change of pace. Rajasthan is still in the position of ascendancy. Chennai need wickets to peg back Royals.

RR  112/2 | Overs 13 | Watson 78* , Dravid 6*

Chris Morris is welcomed with a six off the first delivery, straight over sightscreen. Watson is taking on Chennai. Morris has gone for 25 off his two overs. Dhoni still has lot of overs out of him and Jadeja.

RR  103/2 | Overs 12 | Watson 69* , Dravid 6*

Ashwin bowls a decent over. He bowled a googly off his fifth delivery. It was an innovation never seen before. Ashwin bowls out 20 runs given, two wickets taken.

RR  98/2 | Overs 11 | Watson 66* , Dravid 4*

Holder bowls out. Thirty runs conceded. Watson hits penultimate ball of Holder’s over past short fine-leg. Royals have got a solid platform to launch a final assault.

RR  88/2 | Overs 10 | Watson 58* , Dravid 3*

Yagnik falls to Ashwin as he mistimes the sweep shot. That went up in the air and Ashwin called ‘Mine’. He was never going to drop that. In walks Rahul Dravid at No. 4

RR  82/1 | Overs 9 | Watson 57* , Yagnik 7*

Yagnik cuts Holder over point for a four. Holder is getting some bounce because of his height. Eight runs came off that over. Chennai need wickets to contain the run rate.

RR  74/1 | Overs 8 | Watson 55* , Yagnik 2*

Vicious turn and bounce accounts for Rahane. Chennai get the wicket after the strategic time out. Yagnik comes in at three. So only three and a wicket off that over from Ashwin.

RR  71/0 | Overs 7 | Watson 54* , Rahane 16*

Vintage Watson scores a quickfire fifty. Jadeja has bowled a poor over. Watson paddled the second ball for a four past wicket-keeper Dhoni. The fifth ball saw excellent fielding performance from Michael Hussey. On any other day that would have been four. The sixth ball went over square leg for a massive six.

RR  55/0 | Overs 6 | Watson 39* , Rahane 15*

Dhoni introduces spin for the first time. Ashwin bowled a tightleash line around middle and leg. First four balls yielded only couple of singles. The fifth ball was hammered past Ashwin for a four. Seven came off Ashwin’s first over.

RR  48/0 | Overs 5 | Watson 33* , Rahane 14*

Poor start from Chris Morris. The first ball was a freebie on leg stump. The fourth ball was a friendly short delivery which was hit behind square leg for six. Raina missed Watson’s run-out off the fifth delivery. Royals have got off to a very good start. Sixteen off Morris’ first over.

RR  32/0 | Overs 4 | Watson 20* , Rahane 12*

Rahane hits a colossal flick through mid-wicket. Holder is erring in length. The leg-side deliveries are ensuring Royals are getting a flier.

RR  24/0 | Overs 3 | Watson 18* , Rahane 3*

Watson hits the first six of the match. A clean straight hit. Sharma bowled an innocuous back of the length delivery. An expensive second over from Sharma.

RR  10/0 | Overs 2 | Watson 7* , Rahane 3*

Jason Holder, the big man conceded five off the over. There is no movement on the wicket. The ball is coming slow off the surface. Holder erred in his line on a couple of occasion.

RR  5/0 | Overs 1 | Watson 5* , Rahane 0*

A misfield from Dwayne Bravo off the first ball gives Shane Wastson his first boundary. Mohit Sharma strayed on Watson’s pads off the first delivery. Ajinkya Rahane played just one delivery and the ball came on slow onto his bat.

Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and Rahul Dravid has deceided to bat first.

Albie Morkel misses out due to injury. Jason Holder will be making his debut for Chennai.

Rajasthan have brought Rahul Shukla in the team and Kevon Cooper comes in the team. Shaun Tait has been dropped after he had a very forgettable outing in the last game. Sreesanth has also been dropped.
