Wayne Parnell bowls a high full toss to Brad Hodge, who mistimes his slog and is caught at deep mid-wicket. Hodge hangs around asking for a height no-ball; the umpires go upstairs as replays show that the ball was just below waist height. Hodge has to walk back as young Sanju Samson comes in. The 18-year-old opens his account with a crisp and elegant cover drive wide of mid-off for four, before cheekily guiding a widish delivery to the third-man fence for another boundary.

RR 136/3 | Overs 16 | Hodge 3*, Binny 0* OUT! Rahane 67(47)
Ajinkya Rahane welcomes Bhuvneshwar Kumar into his second spell with a slog to deep mid-wicket for a boundary. However, Bhuvi gets his man on the last ball of the over as Rahane goes for an ambitious sweep off a delivery outside off, finds the top edge and is caught at mid-wicket.

RR 128/2 | Overs 15 | Rahane 62*, Hodge 0* OUT! Watson 5(5)

A ball earlier, Watson had survived a loud appeal for caught-behind after the umpire correctly called that the ball clipped the top of the pads. Just one run and a wicket from the over.
RR 127/1 | Overs 14 | Rahane 61*, Watson 5*
Ajinkya Rahane brings up his fifty in style with a lofted cover-drive off Angelo Mathews that flies over extra cover for maximum. He follows it up with a thick edge to third-man for four more. The next boundary is classier as Rahane drives a full toss past point to race into the sixties. The over gets worse for Mathews as Watson comes in and cuts the bowler for four. 21 runs come from the over.
RR 106/1 | Overs 13 | Rahane 44*, Watson 1*
Yuvraj Singh comes back for a second over and manages to keep the Royals quiet, giving away no boundary, but seven runs.

Krishnakant Upadhyay gets to share the new ball and bowls accurately to give just two runs.
RR 9/0 | Overs 1 | Dravid 8*, Rahane 0*
Rahul Dravid opens the batting for the Royals after coming in at No 8 a few days back. The veteran Indian batsman starts off with two cracking drives through the off. That was vintage Dravid!
So, 92 runs came off the first 10 overs, while 86 came off the next 60 balls. Pune would have hoped for perhaps 15-20 runs more at the halfway stage, but this is a good total nonetheless. The Warriors batted well without any pressure and the Royals will have to bat really well to get a win here. The highest chased total at SMS is 197, so all is not lost for the home team. Join us in a bit for the chase.
Pune 178/4 | Overs 20 | Marsh 35*, Rawat 0* OUT! Mathews 18(15)
Angelo Mathews swings hard at James Faulkner, but finds the leading edge that goes high in the air towards long-on, where Ajinkya Rahane takes an easy catch. Mitchell Marsh then clobbers Faulkner over the fence to show his teammate how it’s done and finishes it off in style for the Warriors.
Pune 165/3 | Overs 19 | Marsh 26*, Mathews 15*
Kevon Cooper comes back for his last over and Mitchell Marsh powerfully lofts it over deep square-leg for maximum. A good over from Kevon Cooper is ruined with an outside edge that flies to the third-man fence.
Pune 133/3 | Overs 16 | Marsh 5*, Mathews 4* OUT! Uthappa 54(41)
Sanju Samson gets a superb throw in from behind the sticks to run out Robin Uthappa and give the Royals another wicket. Uthappa was looking good for a big one and the Royals would be delighted with the wicket. Pune are losing wickets quickly here.

Shane Watson almost gets a maiden in for the Royals before Mitchell Marsh steals a single off the last ball.

Robin Uthappa gets to his half-century with a lofted straight drive for four. But Kevon Cooper gets his second wicket of the match after not getting enough bat on a lofted drive towards long-on. Another failure for the India discard.

Yuvraj Singh elegantly cuts Stuart Binny past point for four, before a typical flick of the wrists off one leg gets him six over deep mid-wicket.

Kevon Cooper gets Rajasthan their first wicket and it’s that of Pune skipper Aaron Finch. It was a slowish short-pitched delivery, which Finch tried to pull, but found the inside-edge that rocked back onto his stumps. End of a great first-innings partnership for the visitors!
Pune 92/0 | Overs 10 | Finch 42*, Uthappa 41*
Robin Uthappa flicks Siddharth Trivedi off the pads and the ball runs along to the deep square-leg fence. Ajit Chandila was struggling in the chase; looks like he’s hurt something.
Pune 80/0 | Overs 9 | Finch 37*, Uthappa 35*
Shane Watson bowls short and Aaron Finch cuts hard one-bounce over point for four. Pune’s run-rate has slightly slowed down, but they are still coasting along to a big total.

Rajasthan bring in Stuart Binny. Robin Uthappa just about manages to clear wide long-on for half-a-dozen with Chandila lurking on the boundary.

Pune 43/0 | Overs 4 | Finch 16*, Uthappa 25*
Shane Watson bowls too short to Robin Uthappa, who obliges with a cracking pull to long-on for four. Watson gets the next delivery fuller, but the result is the same as Uthappa shapes his body beautifully and executes the cover-drive that fetches another boundary. Almost a carbon copy shot off the last ball gets Pune 13 runs in the over.
Pune 30/0 | Overs 3 | Finch 16*, Uthappa 13*
Ajit Chandila isn’t off to the best of starts here as he gets hit for two consecutive boundaries by Robin Uthappa. The off-spinner is wayward on either side of the wicket and is punished with a sweep and a drive that fetch four. Finch then comes in and sweeps him for four more off the last ball to end a good over for Pune.
Pune 16/0 | Overs 2 | Finch 11*, Uthappa 4*
Ajit Chandila gifts a boundary to Pune at deep square-leg after misfielding a whip from Aaron Finch off James Faulkner. Otherwise a good over from the Australian all-rounder.
