Varun Aaron into the attack its a half-tracker is heaved into the stand by Faulkner and then its another six over cover-point. Aaron then bowls a rank full toss and the ball is hit to the stands and the Rajasthan team is on the field after an astonishing win.

Things have turned the Rajasthan way now. After a 21-run over in the last over, Dinda is creamed for a six down the ground by Smith. A juicy half-volley of the next ball is flicked away by Smith for another boundary. The next ball is a yorker and it is chopped away by Smith and it beats Varun Aaron to the fence for another four. Terrible Bowling! A front foot no ball and the ball is walloped down the ground for a huge six. Dinda bowls a good yorker of the last ball.

Starc continues into the attack when Rajasthan desperately need sixes and some scampering between the wickets sees two almost run out chances. Faulkner then slices above point for a boundary and the next ball is fast and angled into the batsman and then there is nick of the outside edge that goes to the fence. Then the all-rounder smacks an over-pitched Starc delivery to the skies and to the deep-mid wicket gallery.

Chahal is in his last over and is probing and teasing Faulkner with his flight and has immediately put the brakes on the scoring and only four runs come of the over — excellent given the batting friendly circumstances.

Varun Aaron is into the attack and Aaron trying for a full-length yorker that will trouble the batsmen but overpitches badly which Steven Smith hammers for a four and a six. Smith then moves to the off side and connects the ball on the full and tucks the ball for a boundary.

Steven Smith plays with spin and dances down the wicket to loft the ball over extra cover for a six. A single is taken of the next ball and Karun Nair steps down the wicket of a straighter and the ball hits the stumps. The bowler? guess who..Its Yuvraj
Karun b Yuvraj 56(39)

Mitchell Starc is into the attack and the Australian creates two good chances where Yuvraj drops in cover and then gets a top edge but is out of the reach of the diminutive Parthiv Patel.

Chahal continues and Karun plays a lovely straight drive that goes to the fence. Karun plays another good flick shit and takes three and its a good over for Rajasthan.

Samson comes down the wicket and slams a magnificent six that beats de Villiers in the deep. Yuvraj is the bowler and the batsmen are trying for the big hits. Samson then scoops the ball straight back to the bowler, which Yuvraj obliges duly.
OUT!Samson c and b Yuvraj 13(9)

Chahal has come back into the attack and has firmly put the brakes on the scoring and the batsmen are reduced to taking singles and twos as quick wickets have completely halted the run chase and have pegged them back completely.

Rahane cuts and it finds the keeper and the opening stand is broken. Then Watson tries to cut and is clean bowled. Binny tries to go big and throws his wicket away and Rajasthan are falling apart.
OUT!A Rahane c Parthiv b Chahal 24(22), S Watson b Yuvraj 1(5), S Binny c Roussouw bYuvraj 1 (2)

Virat Kohli gives the ball to Yuvraj Singh. Karun still goes goes strong on with a full blooded sweep on the leg side and its another four. The score is moving along nicely and the pitch is offering very little.

Rahane is in fine form. There is anothe crisp cover drive and the batsmen cross for singles.

Varun Aaron comes steaming in and its pitched slightly short from the Jharkhand pacer. The next ball is an in-swing and Karun then slapped the ball the ball over point. Rajasthan are off to a great start

Ashok Dinda steams in and bowls two good balls to the batsmen its a tidy over before Karun got an edge and it goes to the boundary.

Albie Morkel drifts on to the pads and and Rahane accepts the gift to tuck it away for a boundary. Albie keeps bowling poor deliveries even after that. Next one is short and Rahane whips it on the leg side for another four. Then Karun flicks behind short third-man for another four and the score has raced to 24.

Mitchell Starc came in to bowl the second over and its a rather tidy over with some excellent full-length deliveries.

Albie Morkel starts the bowling and the ball takes a nick of Rahane’s bat and flies to the boundary. There is a little bit of nip and bounce.

First ball of the penultimate over and its bu Richardson. AB de Villiers lifts it over extra cover and Ajinkya Rahane at deep point can’t catch or cut the ball off. Its a boundary. Yuvraj turns back the clock taking an off-stump guard and and flicks off his body and and its a massive six. The next ball is a full toss and with a packed off-side field and the balls rolls to the boundary. Next is a short arm jab and its a glorious six. Trying to heave the ball the ball wraps Yuvi on the pads and the umpire raises his finger to bring curtains on one of the finest so far.
OUT!Yuvraj lbw bRichardson 83(38)

James Faulkner is into the attack and AB breaks the Australian’s honeymoon phase in the IPL. A humongous strike almost takes the ball out of Bangalore and Karnataka. Then its a AB half-sweep special. He moves across, stands on his right-leg and smokes it over the mid-wicket fence. Faulkner comes back with two-back-to-back deliveries full and wide outside off.

With runs leaking in all directions, Shane Watson is back into the attack and bowls a spate of bad deliveries and is livid with the umpire for giving wides. Yuvraj then shifts his body weight on the off side and bludgeons a four and a six.

Kane Richardson is into the attack and its over-pitched and Yuvi slams the ball on the leg side for a huge six and brings up his half-century. AB then canes the ball to the second tier after Richardson pitches it short. The partnership is taking the game away and AB is chipping the ball into the vacant areas to take those clever doubles. 17 comes of the over.

Tambe gives the ball flight and Yuvi dances down the track and whacks the ball down the ground for an enormous hit. Its a huge six and Yuvi marches on. Its a terrible over by Tambe’s standards.

Shane Watson is back into the attack and its overpitched and Yuvi swats the ball down the ground for a boundary. This is delightful cricket from Yuvi. AB takes risky single and almost runs Yuvi out. Yuvi mistimes a pull of the last ball and Richardson does well to cut it off in the deep.

Short from Rajat Bhatia and hits the ball into the crowd for a huge six. Another poor delivery directed towards the leg side is slammed to fine leg and the ball bounces once before going beyond the fence.Yuvraj is relishing the battle out there.

James Faulkner is into the attack and Yuvraj is displaying all the shots in his arsenal. Yuvraj crashes the ball through cover-point. Faulkner darts a short ball and Yuvraj hooks the ball to deep mid wicket for a single. Just four of the over though.

Wicket-taker Tewatia continues and is continuing to turn the ball away from the batsmen. Both Yuvraj and AB try to use their feet against the 20-year old. Yuvraj then decides to stay at the crease and lofts the ball into the Bangalore sky and its a huge six.

Pravin Tambe continues and Yuvraj is looking menacing at the crease. Two googlies are swept and tucked away by the southpaw and its pretty ordinary stuff from Tambe.

Tewatia comes in and its a wicket! Zol tries to cut and ends up edging it to Shane Watson at first slip. Yuvraj makes a good start by sweeping a leg-side delivery to the fence but AB keeps the strike.
OUT! V Zol cWatson bTewatia 16(14)

Tambe continues and Vijay Zol comes down and smacks it past long on for a boundary. A wrong’ un completely bamboozles Gayle, who does well to get back to the crease to avoid a stumping but Gayle nicks the next ball — a loosner to Samson and walks without umpire ruling him out. Fair Play Chris
OUT! Gayle cSamson bTambe 19(25)

Rahul Tewatia is the new man being summoned to bowl. The youngster challenges and teases Gayle with his leg spinners, which is slightly short and fuller than what Gayle expected.

Pravin Tambe vs Chris Gayle — a battle that promises to be one of the talking points of this match. Gayle is immediately on the charge and sweeps behind square to find the fine leg boundary. Gayle then steps out and beats long on for another four. The West Indian is on the march.

James Faulkner is into the attack and the left-armer immediately gets some bounce. Gayle is looking to find boundaries at will but Watson has been smart with his field placings. Zol romps of the back-foot and spanks the ball wide of mid-off and the ball races to the boundary. Zol tries to pull the ball and nearly finds the mid on fielder.

Finally we have have Chris Gayle on the move. Slightly short from Watson and Gayle comes forward and pulls the ball square of mid-on for a boundary. Vijay Zol then gets on the act by confidently slapping the ball through the packed off-side field for a boundary.

Richardson, again is bang on target and can only get a single of the next ball. Kohli attempts to drive ferociously and the ball takes the toe edge of the bat and flies to Rajat Bhatia at third man, who takes a simple catch. Kohli’s poor form continues. Vijay Zol is the new man in and he is facing a hostile spell from Richardson.
OUT!Kohli cBhatia bRichardson 4(9)

Shane Watson took a hat-trick in the last game and continues with his medium-pacers for this game as well. Watson starts of well is getting a hint of swing. Watson is not giving an ounce of bounce to Gayle and Kohli changes his bat to change his fortunes with the bat. Kohli almost chips the ball to short point and it is another tidy over.

Kane Richardson starts the attack and it Kohli takes first strike. Kohli whips the fourth ball behind square and its a boundary. Excellent first over by Richardson.

TOSS: Virat Kohli wins toss and electsto bat first.  Vijay Zol gets his first appearance of the season and Ashok Dinda comes back in to the line-up. Sachin Rana and Harshal Patel miss out for Bangalore. Rajasthan have made one change in bringing back Rajat Bhatia for Dhawal Kulkarni
