IPL 2014 partners with Twitter to bring real-time experience to fans

IPL Calendar, IPL Magic, IPL Pulse can now be accessed by fans.

Indian Premier League (IPL) and Twitter have joined hands to bring trailblazing real-time interactive experiences such as IPL Calendar, IPL Magic, IPL Pulse to fans during the seventh edition of the cash-rich twenty20 tournament.

 

After their partnership in 2013, IPL & Twitter are set to unveil a gold standard of live, interactive, conversational experiences for cricket fans globally, with a partnership that will be seamlessly integrated on-air, on-ground and online.

 

“IPL has always set the bar high for fan engagement. This next phase of our partnership with Twitter will ensure that fans can not only take in the action this summer but take part in the fun in real-time with unique interactive experiences,” Ranjib Biswal, Chairman, IPL Governing Council, said.

 

Besides IPL Calendar, IPLMagic and IPL Pulse, there would be Best Tweets and Hashtag Battles, #IPLSelfie, @IPLSpiderCam, #TwitterMirror and Twitter Q&As as part of the initiative.
