IPL 2014 Schedule 1st phase: Match time table with ground details

The Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council on Wednesday announced the schedule for the first phase of the seventh edition of the T20 tournament, to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from April 16-30, 2014.

A total of 20 matches will be played in the first phase of the IPL 7 tournament, and three stadiums have been confirmed to host the matches.

The  defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match of the seventh edition of the T20 tournament on April 16.

The Governing Council also confirmed that around 20 matches of the IPL 2014 will be played in the United Arab Emirates. Three cities — Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai will host the matches.

“20 matches will be played in 3 stadiums: Sheikh Zayed Stadium- Abu Dhabi, Sharjah CA Stadium, Dubai International Cricket Stadium,” IPL’s official page announced on Twitter.
