Kedar Jadhav has had a brilliant run in international cricket in last year or so. He was dropped from the One-Day International (ODI) side after an unbeaten hundred against Zimbabwe in July 2015, before returning to the team a year later in 2016. Though he did not set the stage on fire during the New Zealand series, but his knocks of 41 and 39 not out did enough to show his spark and help him retain his place in the side for England series, which proved to be the turning point. His match-winning 122 at Pune and another 90 in the final game established him as India’s latest finisher in ODI cricket.

Jadhav is currently playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). He was traded to RCB from Delhi Daredevils (DD) ahead of IPL 2016 and has since been an integral part of the batting-heavy side. Recently, RCB’s official YouTube channel shared a video where Jadhav can be seen speaking about various on and off-field things.

Replying to a question on what Kedar Jadhav is like on and off the field, he said, “Off the field and on the field as well, I feel I am pretty calm because I don’t take any tension about anything in life. You can say I’m a guy who loves to enjoy life.” Jadhav also revealed his fitness mantra. “Fitness is one thing which you have to do daily. It is like a piggy bank, where you have to put something daily and eventually it adds to your fitness,” he said.

Jadhav also revealed that he dances in private and in the RCB dressing room, Punjabi dance numbers are a hit, with Mandeep Singh taking the dancing charge every time they are being played. Kedar also revealed a few things he does not like to do, how special it is for him to be a part of RCB and how Virat Kohli has backed him. Watch him talk here:

Some lesser-known things about him that Jadhav revealed are that he is a huge Salman Khan and Real Madrid fan and loves to play football whenever he is back home in Pune and free. He also spoke about his biggest achievement so far:  “In the recent ODI series against England, where the first game happened to be in Pune, the whole family was there. It was the first time I was playing in my town for my country. It was a special feeling and eventually I ended up getting the Man of the Match award after a match-winning hundred.”
