According to a report by mid-day, the seats from L-024 to L-048 at front row, ground level of the Vijay Merchant Stand of the ground have been removed for the ones with crutches and on wheelchairs. The ones accompanying them will find seats in the row behind. The washrooms in the ground level have also been dedicated specially for them. All the fans need to do is indicate it while buying tickets online or manually. “This part of the stadium is easily accessible by wheelchairs and it is not very far from the main gate, so we decided to ear mark this area for the physically challenged fans. There hasn’t been much demand for these seats. There was just one disabled fan in the last match,” revealed MCA Joint Secretary Dr PV Shetty.Live Blog: IPL 2017 score, Mumbai Indians vs Rising Pune Supergiant, IPL 10, Match 28
