Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) continued their downward spiral, losing to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 29 of VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. It was once again, Virat Kohli along with support from Brendon McCullum, who led RCB’s batting charge at M. Chinnaswamy. In the end, Kohli remained unbeaten in 68 as RCB managed 175 runs on the board for KKR to chase down. Andre Russell was the star bowler, picking 3 wickets.

In reply, KKR started swiftly with Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn going hammer and tong against Umesh Yadav and co. Lynn made a rather scratchy 62* in KKR’s 6-wicket win. He managed to find support in Robin Uthappa as well, who smacked a quire fire 36 off 21 balls.
