Mumbai Indians(MI) faced their third consecutive defeat in Vivo IPL 2018 as they lost against Delhi Daredevils(DD) by 7 wickets. MI posted a good total of 194 after being put to bat. Suryakumar Yadav and Evin Lewis  added 102 run stand for the opening wicket (first time for MI). However, Jason Roy with his amazing innings of 91* took DD to victory in a last over thriller. MI kept on taking wickets but also allowed partnerships to build.

Hardik Pandya made a comeback into the side after recovering from injury. He is known as the ‘Kung fu Pandya’ of the team because of his athleticism in the field and today he has proved that right. It was in the 14th over when Glenn Maxwell decided to take on Krunal Pandya and hit the ball in the air. Hardik covered a lot ground and stretched to his full potential to take a blinder. He literally manufactured a wicket from nowhere.

Delhi also registered their second victory against MI and first in six years at Wankhede. With the win DD climbed up to number six in the points table ahead of Rajasthan Royals (RR) and MI. MI are still to open their account in IPL 2018.
