Madhya Pradesh wicketkeeper, Naman Ojha has been bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for his base price, INR 50 lakhs during the IPL 7 Auction, Day Two.
Ojha, who earlier represented the Rajasthan Royals and the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL, went unsold on Day One of the IPL 7 Auction, but when renominated on Day Two, was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Sunrisers also needed a wicketkeeper, and Ojha could be the ideal solution in that case.
Ojha has been a decent batsmen in the IPL during his stint with the Delhi Daredevils. He can come in early and up the scoring rate, which is a very essential quality in a T20 batsman.
