Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile was sold for a whopping price of INR 3.5 crores against the base price of INR 1 crore, during the IPL Auction 2017.
Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile was sold for a whopping price of INR 3.5 crores to former record two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), against the base price of INR 1 crore, during the IPL Auction 2017 in Bengaluru on Monday. The Australian pacer has so far played 17 T20Is, and has managed to claim 21 wickets, while from 76 T20 matches, he has managed to claim 88 wickets. Having earlier played the IPL, and represented Delhi Daredevils (DD), and Mumbai Indians (MI), he will look to start a fresh new and hopefully a good chapter under KKR. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who are indeed one of the powerhouses in the tournament, would be backing themselves to claim the coveted title once again, and for the record third time, as they get set to rule the KKR fans all over the country, when they start a fresh innings this season on April 7, and get the proceedings underway by taking on the Gujarat Lions (GL) in their opening tie at the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium in Rajkot. More than 350 players are being auctioned this year, and about 76 players, along with 28 overseas players are to be auctioned, as the world is witnessing a war of money among the franchises to grab the best possible player.
