Kedar Jadhav and Baba Aparajith have helped Rest of India (ROI) gain some stability in the Irani Cup 2013-14 game against Karnataka. In the afternoon session, ROI had lost both openers but since then Jadhav and Aparajith has moved along well.

Batting with his typical aggression, Jadhav took the attack to the opposition. There were a few words exchanged, but he was largely untroubled. He played a few drives to get into his stride and has also brought in an element of caution.

ROI have a tall order ahead of them with a little over two days to go.

Brief scores:

Rest of India 201 & 83 for 2 (Kedar Jadhab 39*, Baba Aparajith 26*; R Vinay Kumar 2 for 27)  trail Karnataka 606 (Stuart Binny 122, CM Gautam 122; Pankaj Singh 6 for 122) by 322 runs.
