The 13th match of the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be played between defending champions Islamabad United and Brendon McCullum-led Lahore Qalandars at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. So far in the tournament, Misbah-ul-Haq-captained Islamabad side have won three out of five games and are standing at second position in the points table. On the other hand, Lahore have won only two from five and lost three. They are currently standing at fourth position in the table. In their previous encounter in this edition of PSL, Lahore had the last laugh as they beat Islamabad by 6 wickets by chasing 159.

In Pakistan, the live cricket streaming will be available on PTV Sports Live, along with the live cricket telecast on Ten Sports, PTV, and Geo Super TV. In UAE, the live cricket streaming will be available on OSN Play, along with the live telecast on OSN Sports. In UK, the live cricket streaming is available on Prime TV Online, along with the live cricket telecast on Prime TV. Also, in Bangladesh, and West Indies, the live cricket telecast will be available on Gazi TV and Flow TV, respectively.

So far, both the sides have played three games against each other in PSL history — two of them came in previous season. Islamabad won both the matches in previous season, while Lahore registered their first win in this edition. Lahore will be aiming  to square off the contest by winning the next one, while Islamabad must be eyeing to regain their domination. Also, the leading wicket-takers in the tournament are from both the sides. Mohammad Sami of Islamabad and Sohail Tanvir of Lahore are holding the top spots  on the list with 8 wickets. In terms of leading run-scorers, Dwayne Smith, who is representing Islamabad, has scored the most. The Caribbean batsman has made 197 runs so far in the tournament at 49.25.
