Soon after the wicket of Gary Ballance, India have struck again as Ian Bell was caught behind off the bowling of Ishant Sharma. Sharma thus picks his first wicket since returning to the side after an injury lay-off. Bell scored seven and now England are 204 for four.

Earlier, Ballance had been given a reprieve off the bowling of Ashwin when Ajinkya Rahane dropped a chance at first slip. And then, Alastair Cook was dismissed when Murali Vijay finally held on to a chance at first slip.

Now, the new batsmen in the middle are Joe Root and Moeen Ali. England are firmly in control of the game and one can say that though India have taken these breakthroughs, they need a lot more if they are to get back in this match. A huge task lies ahead of them.
