Jonathan Trott, the England batsman, will make his comeback to First-Class cricket on Sunday when his side Warwickshire takes on Nottinghamshire in Birmingham. Trott had returned home from the Ashes 2013-14 Down Under after the first test due to a “burnout” and then made his comeback to competitive cricket earlier this season, before he was hit by it again.
Trott had made his comeback in a game against Oxford in April this year and then played another First-Class match against Sussex before withdrawing. Trott then returned in early June with three matches for Warwickshire’s second XI and then also made his way through in the T20 Blast. However, Daily Mail reported that he did not play Warwickshire’s T20 Blast match on Friday in order to gear up for his First-Class comeback on Sunday.
