Kagiso Rabada breaks into Top 10 of ICC ODI bowling rankings; Australia retain No. 1 position in team rankings

Kagiso Rabada was South Africa's standout performer in the recently concluded tri-nation series, featuring Australia and West Indies as well.

Kagiso Rabada, Josh Hazlewood and West Indies skipper Jason Holder attained their career-best rankings in the ICC  player rankings for One-Day International (ODI) bowlers. Australia meanwhile retain their No. 1 spot in the ODI rankings, following their impressive win in the final against West Indies on Sunday. Rabada  breaks into the top 10 and is currently placed in the seventh position along with Dale Steyn , finishing with seven wickets in the recently concluded tri-nation series, which also featured West indies and Australia. Hazlewood juped up eight places to 15th, whereas Holder has broken into the top 20 for the first time in his career, ranked at 20th position exactly. There were some movements in the batting rankings too. South Africa captain AB de Villiers continues to be at the top.  After his impressive show with the bat in the tri-nation series, he has jumped six places to reach 28th position. Darren Bravo has moved up 10 places to reach 40th position. H scored 222 runs with the bat in the tournament. England and Sri Lanka are currently playing an ODI series. England lead the five-match series 1-o, with two more games left.  England openers Alex Hales and Jason Roy have also reached their career-best batting positions at 24th and 78th positions respectively. Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal and Upul Tharanga too have made significant strides as well.  Mathews is the highest placed batsman among the three at 20th position. Chandimal and Tharanga are currently placed at 59th and 98th place in the rankings.
