Pakistan‘s now-discarded wicketkeeper-batsman, Kamran Akmal has become the first Pakistani (and 10th overall) to slam 150 in a T20. He achieved this feat in a National T20 Cup match at Rawalpindi. Playing for Lahore Whites, Kamran was in full flow from ball one and stitched an unbeaten 209-run stand with Salman Butt. By virtue of this knock, he joined the likes of Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Hamilton Masakadza, Adam Lyth, Aaron Finch, and Luke Wright. Gayle and McCullum have scored in excess of 150 twice. In T20 Internationals, Ahmed Shehzad remains the only Pakistani with a solitary hundred.
