Kerala CA beat Tripura CA to avail maximum points

Kerala CA snatched six points with a 10-wicket win over Tripura CA in the Safi Darashah All-India cricket tournament in Bangalore on Saturday that saw none of the other matches being completed due to seasonal rains.

Kerala, who made 331 in their first innings after dismissing Tripura for 190, again bundled out their opponents for 186 in the second essay before hitting off the required runs without losing a wicket.

KSCA XI 550 for 5 in 120 overs vs Jharkhand CA 320 in 109.4 overs (Saurabh Tiwary 131, Bhavik Thakar 63, K. Gowtham 2 for 81). Play called off due to rain. Points: KSCA XI 3, Jharkhand CA 1.

Tripura CA 190 in 96.1 overs and 186 in 71.3 overs (Manishankar Mura 40, Rana Dut 45, Antuf 2 for 34, Shahid 3 for 45, P Prashath 3 for 32) lost to Kerala CA 331 in 97.4 overs and 46 for 0 in 9.3 overs. Points: Kerala 6 (including one bonus point), Tripura CA 0.

KSCA Colts 204 in 91.1 overs and 261 for 3 declared in 73.1 overs vs Odisha CA 214 in 92.5 overs and 14 for 1 in 6 overs. Play called off due to rain. Points: Odisha CA 3, KSCA Colts 1.

Goa CA 362 in 111.4 overs vs Rajasthan CA 18 for 0 in 6.3 overs. Play called off due to overnight rain. Points: Goa CA 2, Rajasthan CA 2.

At Mysore: Assam CA 309 in 108.4 overs drew with Andhra CA 310 in 113 overs (Mub Sriram 63, D. Shivakumar 30, Arup Das 2 for 70, Pritam Das 4 for 80, Abu Nechim 2 for 77). Points: Andhra CA 3, Assam CA 1.

KSCA Secretary’s XI 177 in 83.5 overs and 184 for 3 in 62.2 overs (Karun Nair 92, Arjun Hoysala 45) drew with Baroda CA 274 in 96.1 overs. Points: Baroda CA 3, KSCA Secretary’s XI 1.
